LaRouge features several local artists. We have Diane Thompson, with Beach House Creations. She makes “One of a Kind” handbags. Some are hand painted from scratch and recycled Hawaiian shirts are used for the lining and pockets. You must see all of the different pieces that she creates. We feature Gift Baskets by Berlee’s Fancies. Berlee McEwen is owner and designer. They are absolutely gorgeous! Debbie Wood makes adorable knited headbands. For the third year now we have Pashmina Scarves from Laos. Also featured are the 100% Silk spun and woven by hand. Half of every dollar goes back to the college girls for their education.
